Sofija Milić

Sofija Milić is a choreographer and performing artist from the Balkans, based between Europe and New Zealand. A graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance, she has worked with Borderline Dance Ensemble and Foster Group Dance, and collaborated with artists across Europe. She spent nine months performing with the SUB.LAB.PRO Ensemble in Budapest, appearing throughout Hungary, including at Sziget Festival.

She is the founder and artistic director of L!CK Dance Theatre.

Sofija’s choreographic practice explores the human condition through abstract, embodied performance. Rooted in improvisation, endurance, and collaboration, her work embraces unpredictability and investigates the tension between structure and freedom, vulnerability and strength. She believes art is a driving force for change and seeks to evoke deep emotional and existential reflection in her audiences.
